I've been here since July, 2008 |
I have a job here and they call me the Probation
Officer. That's right, I keep the other cats in line and pass out
citation to cats that exceed the speed limit or try to steal my
treats or attention. They also get a time out if they try to growl
at me. I would love a safe indoor/outdoor area to patrol and will
gladly keep other cats out of "Our" yard. Don't get me wrong, I just
love attention, I'm not a fussy eater, it feels great when you
stroke my sides but I guess I'm an Alpha Male. If that's what you're
looking for and you want a kitty with a definite "Lion Look" to
their face, check me out. That's how I got my name.

Lowell #1 - female - 1 year
I've been here since June, 2008 |
Two left, that's not bad considering there were 10 of
us here originally. We came from a horrible situation. A cat
collector had 90 cats and guess what? There was never enough food,
litter, water or flea treatment and we were a total when we first
arrived. Nine shelters pitched in and took 10 cats each and we ended
up at this lovely facility. Now we have a totally clean bill of
health, we're very friendly and loving, we gained weight and all we
need is a real home. If you haven't guessed, we love other
cats so don't let that worry you. If you can give one or both of us
a loving home, please don't delay, we're pawsitive you'll love us.

Ok, so my name's unusual, but that's ok because I also
have an unusual grin. One of the volunteers lovingly calls me
"funny face" because I have a snaggle tooth on my right side.
Don't worry, I'm just a big love waiting for you to come find me.
I'm a " Come see me cat" not an in your face cat but I do love a
nice tummy rub when you find me. Also, I like to hang out with
other cats which is not hard to do here. So, come look for the
unusually cute kitty with purrsonality.

I came a long way and finally call this shelter my
home.....although I'm hoping for a permanent home with some very
nice humans. I'll need lots of TLC as I'm still a bit scared
and stressed. But once I'll get to know you, I'll be your best
buddy for life!

Peanut Butter - female - 1 year

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Peanut Butter. I just arrived
here at the shelter with my sister Grape Jelly and I am very
frightened by this big adjustment. I am still a little bit scared of
people because I had a rough start in life and I am not sure if I
can trust people but I'm hoping that someone will take me home and
show me the love and care that a kitten deserves.

Our former guardians moved to a place where cats
weren't allowed. So, we're hoping you'll take pity on us and adopt
us together or at least have a furry buddy at your home if you only
adopt one of us. We are both good kids, friendly, playful, we can be
why sometimes and we'll keep you lap warm. It's been said that
Persephone (She thinks she's a goddess) is more affectionate.
Either way, we're both lovely girls and we're hoping to get a new
home soon. We just ask one thing, if you do have to move, PLEASE
make sure cats ARE allowed.
