Kittens must be adopted in pairs

I'm looking for YOU to come and take me home!

We have a tremendous selection of cats and kittens of all shapes, sizes and breeds.  You are certain to find the kitty who is purrfect for you at the shelter.

Check out this beautiful slideshow of all the sweet souls at the shelter who are waiting for forever homes... Photographed and created by our fantastic Volunteer Uli.

All of our cats/kittens are fixed, tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, and treated with Advantage so that our shelter remains flea free, receive rabies and distemper shots and are treated for ear mites, if necessary.

If you have an interest in adopting from our shelter then please read our Adoption Policies.  If you agree with the policies, click here to fill out our online adoption form to get the process started.

We always respond first to the people who fill out the online adoption form. The comment section on the form is the place to put your individual questions and any specific preferences.

Our adoption fees are $110.00 for adults up to 5 years, cats 9 years and older are part of our seniors for seniors program and are only $5.00. $135.00 for kittens up to 1 year, exotic kittens and cats $160, purebred kittens and cats $250

The web site does not give out exact directions to the shelter, just an area map.  When we set up our adoption time with you, we will email you specific directions to the shelter.

CAT OF THE MONTH

Gigi - female - 3 years

Oui, oui, je míappelle Gigi.  Thatís your French lesson for the day.  I had a pretty tough life before I came here and due to an injury, my tail had to be removed.  It wasnít easy to adjust when I first arrived and I would hide a lot but things are getting much better.  Let me tell you whatís it like in the day of the life of Gigi.  My favorite thing is to have a perch (such as a cat tree) or a hammock to lounge in.  I wonít come to you because youíll have to seek me out.  Let me smell your hand and talk gently to me.  Then, Iíll allow you to pet me.  I wonít purr at first but the longer you pet me, the more excited I get and THEN my purr motor will be set to ON.  Donít forget to gently massage the side of my face and the top of my head.  I also like to be gently brushed and Iíll roll over to show you how happy I am.  Ok, Iíll admit I donít really want to be held YET but if youíre a cat savvy purrson that has a lot of patience and have a very friendly cat looking for a friend, I think we can work something out.  I can picture sitting next to you watching some shows or eventually discovering a large size bed (meaning yours).  If you donít have small kids, you want to really help a cute little cat that has seen some tough times and is willing to start a new life, please ask the adoption team to point me out to you.
