| We need foster homes for nursing mother cats and orphan kittens.
Want to see who is available?
It's that time of the year again and we need your help to care for moms and kittens. We are asking you to open your hearts and homes to care for these cats until they are old enough to be brought into the shelter and be put up for adoption. It is much healthier for the moms and kittens to be fostered in a private home where there's less exposure to other cats. We want to give the babies time to develop strong immune systems. To take care of these cats, you will need:
Procedures to be aware of while fostering:
Kittens are totally irresistible at this stage in their lives! If you've never had a chance to be there as these babies grow up, you don't know what you are missing. If you think the kitten shown here is adorable, take a look at these photos to see what else you could miss. If you are interested in being a foster home, please fill out the online adoption form and write in the comments section that you are interested in fostering, not adopting. One of our volunteers will get back to you as quickly as possible.
